Ralph G. Anderson, native son of Mercer County, Kentucky, founded the Belcan Corporation in 1958. Fifty years later, the small engineering company has become one of America s largest corporations with 8,000 employees in 60 locations throughout the world. Belcan s list of clients includes many of the world s leading industries and manufacturers. The founder, owner, and CEO of Belcan is still one of the first to arrive each morning at the company headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. Anderson s unique mission for his company is evident in the Belcan charter displayed prominently throughout the company s offices. Ralph G. Anderson remembers and honors his Kentucky heritage. In addition to operating the 7,000-acre Anderson Circle Farm, the Anderson family and Belcan Corporation support a number of important educational and historic projects. Anderson has been honored as one of the nation s most respected humanitarians.
