Number in Scripture: Its Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance

First published in 1894, Number in Scripture by E.W. Bullinger is a foundational work in biblical numerology, uncovering the hidden numerical patterns and symbolic meanings within the Bible. Bullinger, a renowned biblical scholar, explores how numbers like 3, 7, 12, 40, and 66 appear throughout Scripture with divine significance. His detailed analysis reveals the supernatural design behind biblical texts, reinforcing the idea that numbers play a crucial role in God’s plan. This book is divided into two key sections: the supernatural design of numbers and their spiritual significance. Bullinger examines how numerical patterns appear in prophecy, biblical chronology, and the structure of Scripture, demonstrating how numbers such as 153, 318, and 144,000 hold deeper theological meaning. He meticulously analyzes occurrences of words and phrases, proving that numbers are not used randomly but with divine intent. For students of biblical numerology, theology, and prophecy, Number in Scripture is an essential resource. Whether you're interested in the mathematical structure of the Bible, hidden codes, or the deeper meanings behind numbers in Scripture, Bullinger’s work offers a compelling, well-researched perspective. A must-read for anyone seeking to understand the numerical design within God’s Word.
