OurapproachismoreonthelinesofNonlinearFunctional Analysis: ourmainpurposeistogiveafunctionalframefor systemswithsingularpotentials, includingtheKeplerandthe N-bodyproblemasparticularcases.PreciselyweuseCritical PointTheorytoobtainexistenceresults, qualitativeinnature, whichholdtrueforbroadclassesofpotentials.Thishighlights thatthevariationalmethods, whichhavebeenemployedtoob- tainimportantadvancesinthestudyofregularHamiltonian systems, canbesuccessfallyusedtohandlesingularpotentials aswell.
